Safety package
In the event of an accident, compensation will be paid within the following scope:
Personal Injury Liability: Unlimited per person
Property Damage Liability: Zero deductible per accident
Passenger Personal Injury Compensation
Unlimited per person.
Compensation will be paid if passengers are injured (including death or residual disability) due to a traffic accident.
(The compensation amount will be determined by the insurance company in accordance with the terms and conditions.)
NOC (Non-Operation Charge)
※ This fee will be waived if you purchase the Safety package+NOC.
During the rental period, if the vehicle requires repair or cleaning due to accident, theft, breakdown, soiling, etc., the following Non-Operation Charge shall be borne by the customer:
If the vehicle is drivable and returned to the shop: 50,000 JPY
If the vehicle is not drivable and cannot be returned to the shop: 100,000 JPY
※ An additional 50,000 JPY will be charged if the vehicle is drivable but not returned to the shop (e.g., abandoned on the road).
Important Notice: Cases Not Covered
Insurance compensation will not apply in the following cases:
- Deliberate violation of Japanese Road Traffic Laws (illegal parking, speeding, reckless driving, etc.)
- Failure to report to the police (no accident certificate)
- Accidents or breakdowns caused by the customer’s negligence resulting in termination of the rental agreement
- Accidents caused by driving by a person other than the registered driver declared at departure
- Accidents caused by driving without a license
- Accidents caused by drunk driving or smoking inside the vehicle
- Use of the vehicle beyond the scheduled rental period without prior notice at the time of the accident
- Other violations of the terms and conditions (e.g., theft due to leaving keys inside the vehicle, negligence in use/management)
- Costs associated with intentional flat tires and towing fees
- Costs related only to loss or damage of wheels or keys
