Information for insurance of A.S Rent-a-Car
Personal Liability: Unlimited per accident
Property Damage Liability: Unlimited per accident (Deductible: up to ¥50,000)
Vehicle Compensation: Actual cash value (Deductible: up to ¥50,000)
Personal Injury Compensation: Up to ¥30,000,000 per person
※ Tire puncture repair costs are the customer’s responsibility.
※ Accidents not reported to the police and our rental office are not covered by insurance.
※ Please return the vehicle with a full fuel tank.
Cleaning or repair costs due to misfuelling (e.g., diesel in a gasoline car) are borne by the customer.
If the vehicle requires repair due to an accident or trouble, compensation is charged for loss of business during the repair period.
Regardless of fault, the following NOC will apply:
If the vehicle can be driven back to the rental office: ¥50,000
If the vehicle cannot be driven back to the rental office: ¥70,000
A charge of ¥30,000–¥150,000 will apply per incident.
By joining the CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), the deductible for “Property Damage” and “Vehicle Damage” (up to ¥50,000 × 2) will be waived.
Fee: ¥1,100/day (tax included)
By adding this NOC waiver on top of the CDW, you will not need to pay the Non-Operation Charge in case of an accident or trouble.
Fee: ¥2,200/day (tax included)
Condition: Must be combined with the CDW (¥1,100/day).
Failure to report to the police or our office
Misfuelling (e.g., diesel in a gasoline car)
Tire punctures, lost keys, or interior damage
Battery drain due to negligence
Any prohibited acts defined in the rental or insurance agreement
